The Seventh Annual State of Women-Owned Businesses report released last week finds that women-owned businesses in the U.S. have doubled over the past 20 years. Despite this substantial progress and the growing consciousness about the value of women entrepreneurs, there is no real transfer of wealth: only 3% of female-led companies have a high economic impact. The “impact gap” remains huge and female entrepreneurs’ voice feeble.

Arizona Prosperity Initiative Accelerator – API10X Female Entrepreneurs– powered by Altima Business Solutions, aims to disrupt gender inequality and empower female-led companies to matter. Success is not a measure of your worthiness but your impact.

“Despite the encouraging number of women-owned businesses, female entrepreneurs are not recognized as an economic force and the impact gap remains significant” says Carine Dieudé, Partner and Director of Strategy at Altima Business Solutions. “Entrepreneurship is a tool to reduce inequality and make a difference. We can create real opportunities for women and make it so much more enjoyable and so much more successful to be an entrepreneur. We choose to transfer our wealth of expertise, talent, knowledge and network of influence.”
